Ian is Managing Partner of the Griffiths Marshall Business Advisory Group. The Group provides accounting, tax, business advisory, probate and wealth management advice to its clients.
He has over 20 years of experience within the business world. Initially trained as a Chartered Accountant he is a fellow member of the ICAEW. More recently he has become authorised to carry out the legal privileged activities of Probate and Estate Administration.
The main part of his managerial career with Griffiths Marshall was spent dealing with the audit, tax and complex transactions of the firms largest clients. Upon becoming the firms youngest partner at 27 Ian continued to look after the firms larger clients, was responsible for increasing our presence in the Forest of Dean and now focuses on the advisory needs of clients rather than compliance needs.
Ian also spends time away from client work being responsible for delivering the firms own strategy which has given him a broad awareness of the challenges businesses face away from just the numbers.
His entrepreneurial vision has seen the business grow from being ‘traditional accountants’ to the Advisory Group it is today.
