In December 2021, Paul James (CAP Business Club) stepped down from FEP as a Director, however remains an active FEP Stakeholder.
Paul James has been with the FEP since inception and was a fundamental part of the formation of the CIC in 2019.
Cllr Tim Gwilliam leader of the Forest of Dean District Council expressed his thanks to Paul
"Please accept my heartfelt thanks and that of the Council and indeed the district for your efforts on the FEP.
When we originally set up the FEP we could only hope to gain the drive and experience of business people like yourself. For you to have committed the time and energy that you have is more than we could ever have hoped for
The formation of the FEP is one of my proudest achievements as Leader of the Council and that is down in no small way to you. Your skills and endeavours have made the Forest of Dean not only a better place for businesses but a better place to do business.
We are seeing businesses coming into the Forest , we are seeing investment and there's a feeling of hope. That's down to the environment ( the buzz) that the FEP is helping to create and you have been central to all of it.
Thank You again, enjoy the extra time you may now have "
