Inspiring Forest is an aspirational project to highlight the wealth of career opportunities in the Forest of Dean.
On 24 November 2022, the Forest Economic Partnership will host its first District Wide Inspiring Forest Event at the Gloucestershire College Forest of Dean Campus.
The Inspiring Forest project aims to boost career aspirations amongst young people through raising awareness of the eclectic mix of businesses in the area and the types of jobs available.
Forest of Dean business leaders will share insights into the skills required for jobs locally at all levels from apprentices to senior managers giving young people, their parents and teachers all the up to date information they need. Local school students from 6 Forest schools will be in attendance during the day.
Research proves that if you can’t see it, you can’t be it, so we want your business to showcase the opportunities on offer. It will be a full day with opportunities for your business to give hands-on demonstrations and raise awareness of your industry.
