New Opportunity - Engagement Coordinator

We are looking for an Engagement Coordinator on a Fixed Term Contract!

The Forest Economic Partnership’s (FEP) mission is to deliver a thriving economy in the Forest of Dean District by connecting business, Councils, people, ideas and resources. Around 200 organisations/individuals from across the District participate in its quarterly stakeholder group or monthly sub-group meetings.

The Forest We Want is a community engagement campaign designed to inform and educate businesses, stakeholders and members of the public to the benefits and challenges of the Forest of Dean becoming a Biosphere Reserve (BR).

An aspect of the project includes producing film and audio content which will be made available to the general public via forms of social media and other forms of media. This will be complemented by a series of surveys, to gauge the public's perceptions on the concept of the Forest of Dean becoming a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

The projects aim to engage directly with 40 businesses and over 4325 inhabitants of all ages indirectly through forms of social media.
